Ranjan Gogoi issues notices in all matters on his last working day in the Supreme Court

Chief Justice of India Ranjan Gogoi on Friday issued notices in all the ten cases filed before him, as today is the last day of his work in the Supreme Court. He is scheduled to retire on November 17. Justice Ranjan Gogoi was appointed Chief Justice of India on October 3, 2018.






Two days before Chief Justice Gogoi's retirement, he sat down with Chief Justice SA Bobde in court and issued notices on all matters.

President of the Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) Rakesh Khanna bid Chief Justice Gogoi Adeo and congratulated him on his retirement. He also thanked him for increasing the number of judges in the Supreme Court. Because of the resolution of the country's problems, he demanded the government to increase the judges in the Supreme Court and said that it was necessary to resolve the court cases.
